Kansas City, MO – May 21, 2013 — Identification Systems Group (ISG), the nationwide network of local system integrators in identification, security, and card personalization, announce donation to Susan G Komen Breast Cancer fund. The ISG donated more than $13,500 to Susan G Komen from its Sixth Annual Charity Golf and Auction event in Tampa, FL on April 29, 2013.

About Susan G Komen 3-Day: It’s a 3-Day, 60-mile event. Seventy-five percent of the net proceeds raised by the Susan G. Komen 3-Day® help support Komen’s global research program, the largest nonprofit source of breast cancer research funding outside of the U.S. government. These funds also support large public health programs that address critical issues in breast cancer treatment and care. The remaining 25 percent stays in the local community, providing funds for financial, social and medical needs of our neighbors. Komen’s impact is unquestioned: Virtually every major advance in the fight against breast cancer in the last 30 years has been impacted by a Susan G. Komen for the Cure® grant.

The ISG event team led by Danielle Jorgensen worked with Susan G Komen personnel and solicited auction items and cash donations from its Members and Partners. Danielle Jorgensen (ISG Marketing Manager), Bill Scott (Data Equipment), and Roger Sigler (ISG Executive Director) comprised the ISG event team.

“The ISG wishes to thank its Members and authorized Partners for their contributions to the success of this golf tournament and auction,” said Roger Sigler, ISG executive director. “We are very pleased to contribute to this wonderful charity and look forward to another successful event next year.”
